Trolley Run
Camp Fire USA Heartland Council’s Adventure Fitness Club will be participating in The Kansas City Trolley Run on Sunday, April 27. The club participates in this annual service project to support CCVI (Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired) and raise awareness for the great need for services for blind and low vision children in our community. By participating in the run, through tandem running, our youth, who are blind and low vision, provide positive role models for the community of what children with visual impairments can achieve. Through their involvement in this event, our youth attempt to reach out to parents of pre-school aged children with visual impairments to show them that their children can be successful at sports and fitness as they grow older.
